Nameless GR Hatch AxleBack Beta Test Notes

Here are the beta test notes from our local GR hatch owner. His car was equipped with a catted 3″ downpipe and a 3″ midpipe connected to our 3″ in, dual 2.25″ out AxleBack system. We are in the process of developing a 3″ midpipe and a configurable downpipe for release soon.

Here's what he had to say about our system:

"First let me state that Jason, John and Guy are great guys to hangout with. They are also very passionate about everything they do. The quality of their work is top notch. I've learned a ****ton from them.

I have their 2008+ Hatch prototype on my car right now. This thing sounds great. I've had a chance to drive the car on the freeway, twisty back roads and in town. First off this thing doesn't drone. And when you are cruising the exhaust note is just right. One of the things I like is when you get on it the sound inside the car is there but on the quiet side. I can actually hear my rev/shift beep thingy. I can't hear it when my Perrin is installed.

Another thing I've noticed is the flow coming out of the tips is even on the passenger and driver sides. The flow is also even coming out of the tips. My Perrin poops out most of the flow on the outside tips. I can tell this buy the way the carbon is built up on the tips.

Having this kind of access to the principals in a company like this is has been a pleasure. For the record, I don't work for these guys nor do I have any interest/ownership in their company. I'm just an ******* that has tried several catbacks trying to find the right sound. Really looking forward to seeing/installing the down and mid pipes."

Later he went to clarify:

"I have a prototype of the hatch axle back on my car right now. It is very mellow on the inside. You can hear it when you get on it otherwise it's pretty quiet. On the highway you can barely hear it. No drone at all."
