SCCA ProSolo / Solo II / RallyAmerica - STX & Open Class (Rally America)
Christy is a farm girl from Nebraska with a Masters in Meteorology & Computer Science. She took her car control skills from storm chasing and began doing local autocross events in the Nebraska Region in 2005 in her 2004 Subaru WRX. Her natural talent led her to become the first woman to trophy in both SCCA Rallycross and Solo National Championships in the same year. She's a multiple-time National Champion in SCCA Solo, and is one of the leading ladies in SCCA ProSolo. She moved on to compete in Open Class in 2011 in Rally America in a 2002 Subaru WRX, as well as transforming Bender, her 2002 WRX rally car into a Pikes Peak competitor in 2011 and 2012 for the Time Attack class. You will see her and her rally crew chief (and now husband - Chris Gervais) driving a 2013 Subaru BRZ in STX trim at SCCA National Level events across the country, along with other Nameless Performance Driver Bart Hockerman. Questions on how to setup your STX BRZ for trophy contention, just ask any of them!
Currently they are working together as a team (Bad Panda Motorsports) to come back in 2016 in Open Light in Rally America, and are working on several vehicle builds, including a 2007 Frankensubaru Forester, and a 2015 Subaru WRX STX build. She loves tornadoes, fast cars, video games, whiskey, good food, and shenanigans. #fastandfluffy
